Reclamations on The Main Line!

Our show was so successful in April, we decided to take it "on the road" out to the suburbs so people could park ;)

New work from both of us!

Sarah R. Bloom and Rosalind Bloom bring their art to the suburbs!
"Reclamations on the Main Line" is a two person show of photography, collage and mixed media work by a mother and daughter,
each exploring the transformation of something old into something new.

Sarah R. Bloom was named "Best Visual Artist" in Philadelphia Magazine's 2015 Best of Philly issue.

SMALL BUSINESSES!

You need to update your websites with nice head shots of your current employees. You don't want to waste time.

Let me come set up a little studio area at your office and have you and your employees come in at set times for 10 minute sessions.
Individual head shot sessions normally $100.

You give me
3-5 people? $75 each!
6-10 people? $65 each!
More than that, we'll talk.

At the risk of boring you to death with information about me, I was interviewed again for Amanda Hirsch's blog :)I think she asked great questions that brought out different kind of answers to previous interviews, so you will learn new things about me here!

Can't See the Forrest for the Trees

This saying keeps coming to mind as I read and hear people's reactions to images in my current daily self-portrait project. I'm intentionally not telling anyone what part or parts of my body are in the photograph (though of course sometimes it is blatently obvious). I like there being some mystery about the images. I like it to be difficult to figure out where one image ends and another begins. The point of this series is abstraction: abstraction of identity and imagery.
